Summertime Cooking Camp
Are you looking for a unique opportunity for your child now that school is out? The Summertime Cooking Camp is a joint venture between Silver Platter’s Chef Jayne and Heathcote Botanical Gardens’ Nan Billings. The week-long, drop-off, cooking camp is for children ages 7 and up. The camp will be held Monday, July 23rd through Friday, July 27th from 10am to 1pm at Heathcote Botanical Gardens located at 210 Savannah Road, Fort Pierce, Florida. The cost for the Summertime Cooking Camp for Heathcote members is $105 per child or $115 for nonmembers.
During the week the children will visit one of the beautiful garden “rooms,” the Herb, Rainforest, Pioneer, and Bonsai gardens, and will prepare and eat foods common to those areas with a party planned for the final day. Pre-registration is required and the class is limited to 20 children (ages 7 and up).
